Program and benefits of Malta Residency

The Malta Permanent Residence Program (MPRP) was launched in 2021 to replace the old Malta Residence and Visa Program (MRVP). Changes to the Malta residency by investment program’s principal regulations were introduced to the Immigration Act (CAP. 217) through Legal Notice L.N. 122 of 2021. Malta residency by investment can be acquired in about 6 months.

Residency Malta Agency is the government body responsible for managing Malta residency by investment program.
